I leave behind
A half written note
A few haphazard scribbles
A laundry list tapering into a haiku
A dogeared diary
A broom sticking out of a newspaper basket
A fistful of dust on the mop
I take back with me
What I had hoped to leave behind
A broken dream
An unsung song
An unread poem
And an empty home
Waving goodbye
What do you see # 361- 5 October, 2026

Your thoughts complement so much to the photo. Wonderful, gc. What to bring and what not.
