yellowing leaf
how silently can we
say goodbye
***
unlatching the door
once again back to
my own self
***
bin bag
the other side
of me
***
the falling
of a dead leaf
even the breeze
does not lend it
a cadence
***
falling leaf
the silence
after you

Good Morning ,Geeta Di
Beautiful haikus.
अफसुर्दगी भी रुख पे हे उनके निखार भी
हे आज गुलिस्ताँ में खिजां भी बहार भी
Because second one relates to spring after passing gracefully through autumn
ऐसा मुझे लगा

Geeta ji, these haikus are so delicate and quietly moving. The silence in them says so much. Beautifully written. 🤍🍂

Thank you so much Maha. I think you have just got the essence of haiku – the silence in between words
