Around twelve-ish in the noon I was taking a stroll in the park. I have already given a tour of this park in an earlier post. It’s huge and a walk around it may be more than a kilometre and more.

It also serves as a playground for the kids.

There is a bird feeder too in one corner.

But it’s a bit dirty near the feeder as there’s a trash bin for people to throw plastic packets in which they carry the feed for the birds and usually the bin overflows.

I wish those in charge of the maintenance of the park will try keep this space clean.

The ancient trees stand as sentinels in the park.

The park also fronts the local Temple. Many strollers take a break to whisper a silent prayer.

The kids enjoy playing here in the evenings  though it’s empty now.

The flowering trees stand in a row.

Napper on the bench with a canine companion.

I was surprised to see a vendor inside selling tid bits.

The rows of seasonal flowers are a splash of colour amidst the overwhelming greens.

In the last post it was an inviting red stone  bench. This time I spotted an attractive green iron bench.

The gardeners are at work even midday. The park needs constant caring.

What a beautiful stroll you’ve shared! I could picture the ancient trees standing tall, the flowering rows, and even the napper on the bench with their canine companion.
It’s a reminder that parks aren’t just green spaces — they’re living, breathing corners of the community, holding moments of play, prayer, rest, and wonder.
Hopefully, the authorities keep the bird-feeder area clean so the park stays as inviting as your vivid description.
