“So how’s life without wife?”
I asked Mr. A the other day
A sparrow told me very discreetly
His wife had left him on a whim
But Mr. A appeared quite gay
And answered me cheerfully
“Oh Ms G! This is life you see
No bully , no fear, no mess
Only freedom and joy no less
But I do miss though if I may say so
No…no not my wifey dearie
but her delicious rajma curry”
The snoopy birdie informed me this morning that Mrs. A has returned as unceremoniously as she had left and the whiff wafting through her kitchen window guarantees a lip smacking meal of spicy rajma curry with extra garnish.

This post is to do away with the Monday blues.
Enjoy!!
Footnote: Rajma is kidney beans. Rajma curry is a curry made of kidney beans which if prepared by the books can compete with any Indian hot and spicy non vegetarian dish and can be had with rice, naan, roti.

Good fun. I would like the curry because we use rajma in jalfrezi

Thank you, Geeta, for the amusing tale, the images and the kidney bean curry! Luckily, I like all the days of the week!

That’s great Joanna. A dash of spice for the Sunday hangover. I always disliked Mondays and super liked Fridays when I was working.
Thank you very much for reading and commenting.
