The Treasure Hunt

I have penned many tales in that cozy corner by the window curled up on one of the sofas. One about that frayed map to a hidden treasure which got mysteriously stolen. The adventurers travelled far and wide across mountains, valleys, gorges, oceans, cities, roads… in search. Alas, all in vain !

Till the other afternoon when it slipped out on its own from beneath the other sofa, next to mine, on which you had sat holding my hands for long promising me of an unbelievably bright future together.
