My Genie My Wish

In today’s fast moving and fast depleting world it’s real hard what to ask for if genies are freely available around. Again a Utopian idea yet….

I guess the chaos and mayhem around should automatically invoke a wish for indestructible peace though it’s an element which, according to the wise, resides within.

The scarcity of supply of the rudiments to the millions of deprived masses again elicit a desire for all encompassing prosperity though anything accessible without strife or struggle is not valued that much.

The third wish should reasonably be of sustainable wisdom so as to unfailingly employ the means to retain the above two wishes peace and prosperity without a time bar.

However, considering the ifs and buts associated with the aforementioned three wishes I feel it is best to ask for the blessings of unending endurance and unrelenting resilience to survive acute hardships and the unquenchable urge to rebuild /restore the edifices of civilization if one day humans foolishly decide to self destruct what has taken epochs to establish and flourish.

Last but not the least, having sustained the ravages and passages of time, the astuteness to figure out the interplay of divisive power play which serves as constant threat to the inherent human abilities of nesting, nurturing and nourishing is also simultaneously required.

With godliness evil twines.

With creativity devastation resides

With production deprivation stays put

With equity disparity takes root

So as we sow we should be aware of the storm which can blow away our reaps. So what we aspire for should not be caught in a time warp. The thirst for possessing should be accompanied with the wisdom to maintain and save it from harm and loss.

Given the frailties of our species, the homo sapiens, I guess the genies have to be our constant companions.
